There are numerous ways to make it easy to stick to your keto and intermittent fasting program.

Timestamps:
0:00 How to make it easy to stick to keto and intermittent fasting
0:45 Here’s a new concept: get healthy to lose weight instead of losing weight to get healthy

1:13 What throws you off?
4:10 If you understand how to do this correctly, you’ll set yourself up for success
5:30 You can avoid side effects by studying how to do keto correctly
6:53 After working with people for 29 years, I know how effective this program is

Someone asked me, how can you make it easier to stick to a keto and intermittent fasting program? I responded to ask what the barriers were they were running into. My question back is this: what throws you off? When you isolate the barriers, you’ll find at least one solution for each one.

One of the biggest challenges is that people don’t believe it’s going to work, because they’ve tried so many programs before that failed. So I want to give you a new concept: it’s not lose weight to get healthy; it’s get healthy to lose weight. Shift your goal to getting healthy, and forget about the weight. You’ll find the weight loss will come when you get healthy.

What throws you off? If it’s bread, there are many recipes for bread alternatives. If you’re worried about feeling hungry, your hunger will go away on keto and intermittent fasting when your insulin drops and you burn your own fat.

Scheduling your eating window is easy with intermittent fasting. As well, there are many alternatives to high-carb foods, so you don’t feel like you’re depriving yourself. If you feel bored eating the same things over and over, check out the many recipe books that are available.

You’ll save money when you cut down on the frequency of eating. You may save up to several hundred dollars a month on groceries! If you don’t like salad or vegetables, this is the one thing you’ll have to bite the bullet on. You’ll need to eat more vegetables. You may even feel so much better that you start to enjoy salads.

If you’re worried about side effects like keto flu, keto fatigue, keto rash, I want you to study up on how to do keto correctly, and understand what’s happening in your body. If you don’t, for example, you may lose a lot of water weight and flush out electrolytes like potassium and sodium. You then feel dehydrated, drink water, and become even more deficient. Then you get leg cramps, restless legs, and even heart palpitations. All because you didn’t understand what was going on.

You’re giving up only refined carbs and sugars, so keto isn’t too restrictive. And if you think it’s confusing, stick to one trusted source of information so you don’t get conflicting perspectives.

If you’re not sure it’s going to work, I understand how you feel. You’ll never know unless you try, and you have to change what you’re doing. But I have to say, in 29 years of working with people, this program works amazingly well. It’s one of the most effective programs I’ve ever put out there, and I’m seeing the results when people stick to this keto and intermittent fasting plan.

7:40 Intermittent fasting benefits

16:15 Fasting tips

19:00 Fasting mistakes

Today I’m going to show you the basics of how to do intermittent fasting. This is for both beginners and those who are advanced but are experiencing problems like keto plateau.

With fasting, you’re trying to go from sugar-burning to fat-burning.

What is Healthy Keto?:
Healthy Keto is not just a low-carb diet. With Healthy Keto, you want to eat quality low-carb foods that are higher in nutrients.

The best indicators to know fasting is working:
• Your appetite is gone
• You can fast comfortably

How to start intermittent fasting:
1. Push your breakfast further and further towards lunch (you can have bulletproof coffee or MCT oil)
2. Eat at noon and add fat to the end of your meal
3. Eat at six and add fat to the end of your meal

A six-hour eating window with an 18-hour fasting cycle is great and can provide a lot of benefits, such as:
• Supporting cognitive function, focus, memory, creativity, and mood
• Supporting the immune system
• Decreasing inflammation

How to get rid of snacking:
• Don’t buy snacks
• Stay busy
• Have a large dinner with plenty of fat
• Have apple cider vinegar in your water
• Have lemon juice in your water
• Consume a large amount of vegetables during meals

Things that will help you fast longer:
• Green tea
• Cinnamon
• Garcinia
• Ginseng
• Ginger

What to do if you experience symptoms like keto flu or keto fatigue:
• Take B vitamins
• Take sea salt
• Take electrolytes and trace minerals

Fasting mistakes:
• Consuming a small snack
• Consuming a small amount of carbs
• Thinking the results will happen quickly (give it time!)
• Consuming everything in moderation

In this video, Dr. Berg talks about fiber and constipation. The recommended 7 to 10 cups of salad every day is not just for the purpose of fiber, but for the nutrients, phytonutrient, minerals and vitamins. The fiber will help to feed the colon, but if your digestive system is compromised and you don’t have the capacity to digest too much vegetables it will cause gas, bloating and pain.

Conditions Which You Would NOT Want to Consume Fiber
• Diverticulitis
• Constipation
• Bloating
• Abdominal Pain
• IBS
• Food Allergies
• SIBO or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth
• Hemorrhoids
• Rectal Bleeding

What to Do?
• Intermittent Fasting
• Cut out fiber including vegetables for a period of time

15:55 Tip #16 - Something is better than nothing

In this video, I’m going to share some of my best tips and tricks for Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting.

Tip #1 - Have MCT oil in your coffee every morning to reduce hunger and cravings. Start with one tablespoon.

Tip #2 - Blend one whole lemon in water. This provides a boost of vitamin C and phytonutrients. Add stevia or electrolyte powder to enhance the flavor and nutrients.

Tip #3 - Have one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water in the afternoon. This helps improve insulin sensitivity and energy.

Tip #4 - Have a large salad before each meal to help you achieve 7 to 10 cups of vegetables a day.

Tip #5 - Add non-fortified nutritional yeast flakes to your salad and other foods to replenish your B vitamins, reduce stress, and enhance flavor.

Tip #6 - Replenish electrolytes and B vitamins to prevent keto flu symptoms.

Tip #7 - Have 3 to 6 oz of protein per meal. You can have up to 8 oz if you exercise and have a great metabolism.

Tip #8 - Add additional fat to the end of your meal to increase your fasting window and reduce cravings.

Tip #9 - Increase the quality of your foods. Always choose organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, and wild-caught products—they contain more nutrients. Avoid processed foods.

Tip #10 - Use herbal tea to help you fast longer.

Tip #11 - Don’t snack—especially after dinner and during your fasting window. Never keep snack foods in your home.

Tip #12 - Get quality sleep. Poor sleep increases cortisol, hunger, and cravings. Exercise and sun exposure during the day will increase melatonin at night. Vitamin B1 and 10,000 IU of vitamin D will also help improve your sleep.

Tip #13 - Replenish your electrolytes after exercise with sea salt, vegetables, and electrolyte powder.

Tip #14 - Check all products for hidden ingredients, like unhealthy artificial sweeteners, sugar, maltodextrin, and carbs.

Tip #15 - If your appetite is gone, you know it’s working.

Tip #16 - Something is better than nothing. Do dirty keto and work your way up to Healthy Keto if you need.

I’ve done many videos on the amazing health benefits of apple cider vinegar, but I’ve never mentioned this. Many people use apple cider vinegar for immunity, digestion, and weight loss, but there’s more! Discover some fascinating ACV benefits you’ve probably never heard of.

0:00 Introduction: Apple cider vinegar benefits
0:29 Understanding microbes
1:58 Apple cider vinegar for gut microbes
3:35 The benefits of microbes
5:16 What wakes the bad bacteria?
6:40 How to use apple cider vinegar

Recommended Apple Cider Vinegar: https://www.fairchildsvinegar.com/

Most people are familiar with the more popular benefits of apple cider vinegar, including the following:
•Supports digestion
•Decreases bloating
•Improves indigestion and acid reflux
•Supports healthy blood sugar levels
•Helps make insulin more sensitive
•Decreases a fatty liver
•Decreases inflammation

Both good bacteria and bad bacteria can go into a dormant state. Microbes in a dormant state are protected from many environmental stresses and chemicals, especially antibiotics. Dormant microbes can survive for decades or even thousands of years!

A change in environment, like a change in pH, can wake good bacteria or cause them to go dormant. Most good bacteria thrive in an acidic environment. Apple cider vinegar acidifies the environment for good microbes. Things like kombucha, pickle juice, sauerkraut, and kimchi have similar effects.

Certain microbes create butyrate, which helps with insulin resistance. These microbes thrive in an acidic environment.

We have a synergistic relationship with the microbes in our gut. We provide a home, and they provide immune protection, help with digestion, vitamin production, and more. By making their environment more acidic, you help activate them.

H. pylori releases ammonia, which alkalizes the stomach acid. This allows it to do its damage, causing ulcers in the stomach and small intestine. C. diff, E. coli, and salmonella go into a state of dormancy when the pH drops below 6.

When your immune system is suppressed, bad bacteria can come out of dormancy. Antibiotics, stress, Prednisone, and vitamin D deficiency can all suppress the immune system and activate pathogenic microbes.

Adequate vitamin D in amounts of at least 10,000 IU daily may help keep pathogenic microbes in remission. Try drinking 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water every evening with a straw to support your beneficial microbes. Fairchild’s Apple Cider Vinegar is an excellent option.

Find out how to reverse insulin resistance!

Timestamps:
0:00 Can you reverse insulin resistance?
0:10 What is insulin resistance?
1:30 What causes insulin resistance?
1:47 How to reverse insulin resistance
2:12 How long does it take to reverse insulin resistance?
3:18 How to know if your insulin resistance is improving

In this video, I want to talk about a question I received from someone who was wondering how to reverse insulin resistance.

What is insulin resistance? - It’s a condition where the cells are no longer absorbing insulin. Without insulin, the cells can’t get fuel, so they’re starving. This makes you crave carbohydrates. A signal is then sent to the pancreas, telling it to make more insulin. The average person with insulin resistance has 5-7 times more insulin than normal.

High levels of insulin can create:
 • Starved cells
 • High blood sugar
 • Damage in the body

What causes insulin resistance? - Overexposure to insulin (chronic carbs and frequent eating)

How do we fix this problem? - The prolonged absence of insulin.

If you don’t fix insulin resistance:
 • You’re not going to experience weight loss
 • You’re going to be hungry all of the time

In my opinion, it takes about 3-8+ months to reverse insulin resistance. My guess is that healthy keto with intermittent fasting is responsible for 90%+ of improvements. Healthy keto provides the key nutrients you need to help speed up the process.

If you want to enhance your results, you can:
 • Add exercise
 • Lower your stress
 • Get more sleep
 • Get plenty of nutrients (zinc, vitamin D, chromium, potassium, magnesium)

How do you know if insulin resistance is going away?
1. Your hunger is going down
2. You’re losing belly fat
3. Your blood pressure is going down
4. Your blood sugars are good
5. No dawn phenomenon
6. You have more energy
7. You’re satisfied when you eat

Find out how to relieve symptoms of peripheral neuropathy by addressing the root cause.

0:00 Introduction: Peripheral neuropathy
0:29 Diabetic neuropathy
1:03 Peripheral neuropathy causes
1:27 Peripheral neuropathy symptoms
5:26 A natural alternative for peripheral neuropathy

In this video, we’re going to talk about an amazing natural alternative for peripheral neuropathy.

Diabetic neuropathy usually affects the bottom of the feet and sometimes the hands and is one of the first signs of a blood sugar problem.

Chemotherapy, hypothyroidism, autoimmune diseases, medications, viruses, and Lyme disease can also lead to peripheral neuropathy. However, high blood sugar and diabetes are the most common causes.

Diabetes wears down the myelin sheath over time, leaving exposed nerves at the bottom of the feet.

Peripheral neuropathy can feel like hypersensitivity, burning, severe pain, or itching. If it’s not corrected, it can lead to ulcers in the lower part of the body and gangrene.

Consuming too much sugar makes it difficult for the mitochondria to get enough fuel. Too much sugar also leads to nutrient deficiencies and inhibits the function of enzymes that bring fuel to the cell. When sugar blocks the body’s mechanism for getting energy to the cells, it utilizes alternative pathways for energy.

One of these alternative pathways produces sorbitol, a sugar alcohol. Sorbitol can damage the lens of the eye, leading to cataracts. It can also affect the retina, leading to diabetic retinopathy. Sorbitol affects the cells that compose the myelin sheath. It can also convert to fructose, creating even more problems.

Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 that can help support the nerves. Try taking 300 mg of benfotiamine 4 times daily.

Lipoic acid is a cofactor for the enzyme that allows you to metabolize excess glucose. Vitamins B5, B2, and B3 are also cofactors for this enzyme.

Diabetes damages your nervous system and brain over time, so it’s imperative to correct your diet, which I believe is the root cause of peripheral neuropathy. Learn more about the benefits of a low-carb diet and intermittent fasting in my other videos.

Are these unhealthy habits sabotaging your health? Learn about the top common health mistakes to avoid, especially for people over 50. Even if you’re under 50, you’ll want to avoid these mistakes!

0:00 Introduction: Unhealthy mistakes to avoid
0:32 The top common health mistakes
1:53 Vitamin D
2:54 Magnesium
3:14 Zinc
3:29 Avoid these mistakes with supplements
5:20 The worst diet advice for menopause
6:33 Dietary health mistakes to avoid
8:13 Frequent eating
9:03 Autoimmune diseases
10:34 The importance of gut health

Simple choices could be the reason why you’re not healthy. These unhealthy habits can be especially problematic if you’re over 50.

1. Don’t take health advice from inexperienced people.
2. Don’t be too quick to accept a diagnosis.
3. Avoid solutions that create more problems.
4. Avoid excessive stress.

The most important nutrient for people over 50 is vitamin D. Vitamin D influences 10% of your genes. You need at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D or more to produce a therapeutic effect. Doctors worldwide are using vitamin D3 for many health concerns, including autoimmune diseases, eye problems, and fibroids.

Magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D work together in a synergistic relationship. Magnesium is vital for heart health and energy. Avoid calcium and iron supplements as you age. It’s very difficult to rid the body of excess iron.

You don’t need to avoid salt! Opt for sea salt and make sure you’re getting plenty of potassium. Sodium deficiency can cause increased cortisol levels, which can interfere with sleep.

Cholesterol is an essential building block of sex hormones, so you must get enough after menopause. Cholesterol is essential for our brain, bile salts, and other hormones. Butter, eggs, dairy, and shellfish are the best dietary sources of cholesterol.

Focus on removing carbs from the diet and prioritizing quality protein. Grass-fed beef or lamb is the best source of protein.

Frequent eating stimulates insulin, which is the root cause of many chronic illnesses, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and a fatty liver.

Autoimmune diseases are related to low vitamin D and the microbes, viruses, and other pathogens that downgrade the vitamin D receptor. After severe stress or shock, your immune system becomes suppressed, leaving you vulnerable to autoimmune disease.

It’s vital to understand the importance of the microbiome as an organ, especially when you’re over 50. When you take an antibiotic, your microbes don’t always return. Gut health supports immune function, neurotransmitter production, mood, cognitive function, digestion, nutrient production, sleep, and even protects us against cancer.

I switched to the carnivore diet for 2 weeks. Here's what happened.

INFORMATION ON METABOLOMIC TESTING: https://www.drtsoukalas.com/new_patient-lp-2.html

Recommended Olive Oil: https://sanmicheleorganic.com/....product/extra-virgin

0:00 Introduction: What happened when I tried the carnivore diet for 2 weeks
0:40 What do you eat on a carnivore diet?
2:21 Vitamin C on the carnivore diet
4:08 Metabolomic testing
5:30 Will Dr. Berg continue the carnivore diet?

In this video, I’m going to share my opinion of the carnivore diet after following it for 2 weeks. Not everyone does well on the same diet, so it’s important to experiment with different diets to find the right one for you.

Many people do very well on the carnivore diet! The carnivore diet can be very helpful for people with gut issues and autoimmune conditions.

While on the carnivore diet, I ate beef, pork, eggs, seafood, shellfish, and dairy. I discovered that I had been experiencing bloating due to my nut consumption. I didn’t experience any energy changes because I already have high energy.

For the first few days, I didn’t have any bowel movements. This was probably because my gut microbes needed to adjust.

Some people wonder about vitamin C intake on the carnivore diet. When you go on the carnivore diet, your need for vitamin C decreases.

I do not plan to continue the carnivore diet. I will continue eating the same proteins along with salads made from high-quality ingredients. I’ll also consume fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, kimchi, and pickles.

I love to add extra virgin olive oil, parmigiano reggiano, nutritional yeast, and feta cheese to my salads. The calcium in cheese binds to any oxalates that are in your salad, removing them from the digestive system.

I’ll also add berries to my diet, but I won’t be eating any nuts!

Are you aging too fast? Too much iron can cause premature aging both inside and outside the body. Find out how to slow down aging and reduce oxidative stress by eliminating excess iron.

0:00 Introduction: Iron and aging
0:44 Side effects of excess iron
1:40 Too much iron and disease
3:43 What causes iron-deficiency anemia?
5:00 Increasing your antioxidant reserve

DATA:
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4503765/

The Most Powerful Antioxidant (Melatonin)

Did you know that too much iron can decrease longevity? Your body makes hydrogen peroxide that is used by the immune system to kill microbes. When hydrogen peroxide combines with iron, it can cause serious cellular damage.

People with iron-deficiency anemia often have dysfunctional iron, which means it’s unavailable to the red blood cells. This could be why we are not seeing a decrease in anemia even though we've increased iron in the food supply.

Iron overload may increase your risk for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cancer, heart disease, and more. Excess iron causes oxidative stress and increases inflammation.

As we age, we naturally accumulate more iron. Around 70% of our iron is stored in protein in the blood that helps carry oxygen. Ferritin should be inside your tissues to protect you from free iron and control when iron is released. This very efficient system recycles iron in the body.

Certain pathogens, microbes, and infections use iron as fuel. This is why the body protects free iron. Some people feel better after donating blood, indicating they have too much iron.

Too much iron without enough copper is a big problem. If you think you have this problem, limit iron exposure before taking a copper supplement. Iron is found in enriched flours, grains, and refined carbohydrate products. Shellfish, organ meats, sunflower seeds, and dark chocolate are good sources of copper.

To combat oxidative damage caused by iron and other factors like alcohol, smoking, pollution, and junk foods, you’ll want to build up your antioxidant reserve. Glutamine found in red meat is vital, but protein is the most important! It’s especially important to consume enough protein as you get older.

Zinc, manganese, magnesium, and selenium can increase antioxidant networks to help you regulate excess iron. Quercetin, curcumin, black tea, and increasing melatonin are also very beneficial.

Lactoferrin is the most powerful chelator for iron. It’s found naturally in dairy and can be taken as a supplement.

Today, I’m going to tell you how to get rid of bloating. After you chew your food, it travels through the esophagus and into the stomach. The stomach is very acidic to break down proteins and kill microbes.

Ninety percent of digestion occurs in the small intestine, where bile and secondary bile salts made by your microbes break down your food. The large intestine, small intestine, and pancreas release enzymes to aid digestion. Around 20% of these enzymes are made by your microbes.

Bloating is caused by a problem with digestion. The type, amount, and diversity of your gut bacteria directly affect bloating. This often depends on if you’ve taken antibiotics and how much you’ve taken over time.

Broad-spectrum antibiotics significantly reduce your microbes, and they do not come back! If you’re missing any of your gut microbes, you’ll experience bloating, gas, burping, constipation, and more.

Other chemicals in the environment that mimic antibiotics can also cause a bloated belly. Glyphosate, birth control pills, steroids, anti-depression medications, PPIs, artificial sweeteners, fluoride, and statins can all contribute to bloating.

So many people can not properly digest food anymore because they don’t have all of their microbes in sufficient quantities.

A high-quality probiotic is a great solution to bloating. Along with probiotics, consume fermented foods regularly, such as kefir, yogurt, sauerkraut, and pickles. Apple cider vinegar and kombucha can also help awaken dormant microbes by acidifying their environment. These microbes help support your bile and enzymes, helping you digest food, which takes stress off your organs.

If you are following a strict keto diet, you may want to stick to recipes without pomegranate or papaya. If you have been doing keto for some time and feel your body can handle a small amount of these fruits—please give all of the recipes a try! Always get organic fruit when possible, and try to keep your net carbs under 50g per day.

1. Spinach and kiwi
Blend 1 cup of spinach with 2 to 3 kiwis. Spinach supports healthy blood sugar and can also help remove fat from the abdomen, while kiwi has properties to protect the liver against damage.

2. Spinach and grapefruit
Combine 1 cup of spinach with 1 grapefruit. Grapefruit increases your sensitivity to insulin and increases bile flow.

3. Kale and pomegranate
Cruciferous vegetables like kale aid in liver detoxification and have anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate also decreases inflammation and prevents fat from accumulating in the liver.

4. Papaya
Combine one whole chopped papaya with water and ice. Papaya is loaded with enzymes that can help digestion and decrease inflammation in the liver.

5. Celery and blueberries
Combine 1 cup of chopped celery with 1 cup of blueberries. Celery Increases bile production and reduces liver inflammation. Blueberries reduce liver fat, and their polyphenols help remove excess iron from the body.

6. Cucumber and lemon
Combine 1 cup of each of these ingredients. Cucumber is hydrating and has electrolytes. It increases liver detoxification and can help prevent NAFLD. Lemon can also improve liver detoxification.

7. Avocado and strawberries
Combine 1 cup of each! Avocado contains glutathione, one of the most potent antioxidants, and also has reparative properties for the liver. Strawberries help increase overall liver function and metabolism and remove fat from the liver.

8. Coconut and papaya
Coconut contains lauric acid, which is beneficial for the immune system. It contains MCT fat, which turns into ketones. This combination decreases inflammation and scarring on the liver.

Dr. William Davis developed a recipe combining fruit juice with a friendly microbe found in Florastor. Try this beverage to support the gut and suppress diarrhea and SIBO.

Discover the best natural and effective remedy for arthritis. This one surprised me!

0:00 Introduction: The best natural remedy for arthritis
0:35 What is arthritis?
0:40 Side effects of NSAIDs and steroids
1:02 How this remedy works
1:40 Signs of NAD deficiency
2:48 The best vitamin for arthritis

In this video, we’re going to talk about a vitamin that can help relieve symptoms of arthritis. Arthritis involves inflammation, breakdown of cartilage, stiffness, and pain.

People often take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to get rid of the pain associated with arthritis, but NSAIDs can cause gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and kidney problems. Steroids for pain can destroy your joints and lower your immune system.

This incredible remedy for arthritis is a precursor for NAD. NAD is a helper molecule that helps turn food into energy and is involved in over 400 different genes.

Signs of an NAD deficiency can include:
1. Low collagen repair
2. Inflammation
3. Fatigue
4. Muscle pain, muscle weakness, muscle loss
5. Metabolic diseases
6. Aging faster than normal
7. Lowered immune system

Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, is the best vitamin for arthritis. Try taking around 100 to 150 milligrams of niacinamide 3 to 6 times per day, depending on the severity of your arthritis.

Ensure you’re consuming sufficient protein for niacinamide to help with your arthritis symptoms, and it’s also best to avoid alcohol.

Tryptophan can also turn into vitamin B3, but the mechanism is not very efficient. Niacinamide is a non-toxic, effective, and affordable remedy for arthritis!

If you think that magnesium’s not working, you could be taking it wrong. Find out about the common mistakes people make with magnesium supplements. There are so many benefits of magnesium—it's the most important mineral, so make sure you’re taking it correctly.

0:00 Introduction: Magnesium benefits
0:23 Magnesium deficiency
0:54 Magnesium deficiency causes
2:10 Magnesium glycinate
4:09 Magnesium sources
4:21 What if magnesium’s not working?

Magnesium is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions that help prevent common problems such as atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, insomnia, heart disease, leg cramps, and fatigue. Many people are magnesium deficient, but it’s almost impossible to test! Only 1% of your magnesium is in the blood—the rest is inside the cells.

Some common causes of magnesium deficiency include:
•Genetic weakness
•Low stomach acid
•Prediabetes or diabetes

Magnesium depends on vitamin D, which many people have a genetic problem with. Vitamin D deficiency inhibits the proper function of magnesium in the body. You need a minimum of 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily.

Magnesium glycinate has an 80% absorption rate and also helps with sleep. Magnesium controls calcium, so you likely have excess calcium if you're magnesium deficient. Too much calcium causes cramping in the calves, high blood pressure, and arrhythmias.

Smoking, alcohol, soda, refined sugars, starches, and certain medications can all contribute to a magnesium deficiency.

Leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, chocolate, and nuts are the best food sources of magnesium.

You won't see results if you don’t give magnesium enough time to work. It takes at least 1 to 3 months to see results from magnesium.

Digestive issues like constipation or diarrhea can greatly affect your ability to absorb magnesium. Chronic stress and exercise can increase your magnesium requirements.

You can increase magnesium absorption by spreading your doses throughout the day rather than taking it all at once. Try drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water to acidify the stomach and increase magnesium absorption.

Check out Matt Schifferle's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@RedDeltaProject/videos

Today, I'm going to show you several different arm exercises that can help you quickly get rid of flabby arms. If you can’t do them all, that’s okay—choose the ones that are right for you! Pick the best exercises for your home arm workout.

As we age, the muscles in our arms start to atrophy along with our fascia. Fascia holds the shape of the arm and is vital for the whole body. Fascia maintains the body’s shape, keeps your muscles in place, and shares some of the force on your body when you exercise. When you stimulate the fascia, you cause collagen synthesis, which is essential as you age.

The arm exercises I’m going to show you focus on strengthening the primary and secondary muscles, associated supporting muscles, and the fascia. This arm workout is safe on the joints, produces significant strength, and can reshape the arms for slim, toned arms.

Most of the exercises I’m going to show you today are isometric exercises. This type of exercise increases tension in the muscle without lengthening or shortening it. Contracting your muscle is referred to as a concentric movement, while the extension is an eccentric movement.

You’ll need a resistance band or isometric band for these arm exercises. Some will be done using a TRX, which works great for an arm workout. Gymnastic rings can also work but are not necessary. If you don’t have any equipment, don’t worry! You can also get slim, toned arms by using your body weight.

If you’re consistently getting less than 6 hours of sleep, you increase your risk of premature death, cancer, diabetes, dementia, and more!

Sleep is the best way to clean the brain of damaged proteins, but this only occurs when you get real sleep. Sleep medication can sedate you but will not enhance your sleep quality. Alcohol significantly decreases sleep quality, causing snoring, sleep apnea, and tossing and turning.

Sleep is essential for repairing and restoring the entire body, especially the immune system. Without sleep, the immune system shuts down, leaving you vulnerable to infection.

REM sleep supports parts of the brain involved in creativity, memory, and problem-solving. It improves social interaction, emotional stability, empathy, and your mood throughout the day.

Most repair occurs during non-REM sleep, also known as deep or delta-wave sleep. As you age, non-REM delta wave sleep decreases significantly. Delta wave sleep is vital for fat burning, cell repair, and cell regeneration. It’s also when your body fights infections most effectively.

To improve your sleep quality, try the following restful sleep tips:
•Avoid alcohol
•Drink kombucha tea
•Exercise regularly
•Avoid eating too late
•Avoid eating too much protein
•Sleep in a cool, dark room
•Avoid too much caffeine
•Avoid excessive blue light
•Turn lights off a few hours before bed
•Get plenty of sun during the day
•Go to bed when you’re tired
•Avoid stimulating shows/movies before bed

Magnesium, vitamin D, and zinc are the most important nutrients for sleep. L. reuteri is a microbe that can help boost oxytocin and serotonin and improve sleep. Sodium is also vital for restful sleep.
