Thousands of Gaza residents are returning to their homes as a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel came into effect. Melbourne Law School’s Dr Marika Sosnowski says the first phase of the ceasefire is significantly longer than the previous truce and six weeks will allow a lot more aid to flow into the strip and rebuilding to begin.
