Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Mr Lyne said, โThis work changes the narrative of MH370โs disappearance from one of no-blameโฆ to a mastermind pilot almost executing an incredible perfect disappearance in the Southern Indian Ocean.โ
Mr Lyne said damage to the planeโs wings, flaps and flaperon suggest it was involved in a โcontrolled ditchingโ, similar to that of Captain Sully on the Hudson River in 2009.
He said, โThis justifies beyond doubtโฆ that MH370 had fuel and running engines when it underwent a masterful โcontrolled ditchingโ and not a high-speed fuel-starved crash.โ
The researcher claims the plane is โwhere the longitude of Penang airport intersects the Pilot-in-Command home simulator track discovered and discarded by the FBI and officials as โirrelevantโ.โ
Mr Lyne added, โThat premeditated iconic location harbours a very deep 6000m hole at the eastern end of the Broken Ridgeโฆ With narrow steep sides, surrounded by massive ridges and other deep holes, it is perfect โhidingโ place.โ
