Lebanon ceasefire: Israeli military withdrawal delayed

Israel says it will not meet a deadline for the full implementation of the ceasefire with Hezbollah. It had been set for Sunday morning, midnight on January the 26th. Israel’s ambassador to the US says the two countries are in talks about extending the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. Hezbollah says it’s the state’s responsibility to press the countries sponsoring the agreement to ensure parties stick to the deadline.
