Gaza plan controversy: Israel and US strengthen ties in Washington DC

US President Donald Trump has doubled down on his plan to 'take over' Gaza. He says Israel would hand it over to the US after fighting ended, despite it having no legal authority to do so. Israel's prime minister says no US troops would be needed under the plan. He's been meeting US Senate leaders in Washington DC.
