Always keep you a 12v, 18v or 20v charged power tool with you. Preferably a impact, tire inflator, or light. The battery will be useful in several ways including jump starting your car, truck, rv. This hack has saved me tons of money and time.

It’s NOT obvious on how to charge or jumpstart this vehicle. You can try to find it in the manual or you can watch the video to show how to hook up your jumper cables or charger.

Hi y'all! I'm Chaya also known as the Mechanic Shop Femme here to teach you how to jump start your own car. This is a mini tutorial so you can learn quickly and efficiently.
A few importaint things to keep in mind:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. RED or positive goes first when you are connection jumper cables. Attached the positive cable to the positive of the dead battery. Then attach the positive, then negative on the working vehicle. Next go back to the dead vehicle and attached the black cable (negative) to any unpainted metal part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. It's super important to make sure you don't mix up the positive and negative terminals. Check twice before attaching. Look for red or a + sign to symbolize positive and black or a - sign to symbolize negative. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Turn on the working car first, let it run for a few minutes and then go and try to start the car that is dead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Disconnect cables in the OPPOSITE order then you put them on. Negative then positive. Start with the car that received the jump start by removing the negative cable attached to the unpainted part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Make sure the cable clips (the metal part) doesn't touch each other. Hold them in separate hands.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Don't rely on the jumpstart to fix anything. It's a temporary solution to genrally an underlying problem. Get your charging system checked as soon as possible. If you are lucky, maybe you just forgot a light on and it drained your battery.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope this taught you something! Doing these videos has been so much fun. Please share this video with your friends. Comment and tell me if you've ever jumpstarted a car or if you now feel confident you can handle doing it yourself. Lastly! Make sure you own some jumper cables and they are in your car.
