Tools and Preparation

In this video, I'll walk you through how to root your Android 15 device step-by-step, enabling access to system files and features normally restricted. The first step is to download essential tools like ADB & Fastboot++ on your PC, which will allow you to run commands on your phone. You can find the download link in the description below.

If you’re using Windows, you’ll also need Windows PowerShell, but it should already be installed on your PC. Next, we’ll enable USB debugging and developer mode on your Android device, which is crucial for the rooting process. You can unlock these features by accessing the “About Phone” section in settings and tapping the build number seven times.

Unlocking Bootloader and Installing Magisk
------------------------------------------------

Once your tools are ready, the next task is unlocking the bootloader on your device. This step will wipe all data, so ensure you’ve backed up your files. After that, enable OEM unlocking in the developer options, then restart your phone into fastboot mode to interact with it from your PC. We will then connect the phone to your PC, verify the connection using the fastboot devices command, and proceed to unlock the bootloader with the appropriate fastboot command.

Next, we’ll download and install Magisk from a secure source, as it will allow us to root the device safely. After extracting the necessary firmware files, we’ll patch the boot image with Magisk, preparing it for installation.

Flashing and Finalizing the Rooting Process
------------------------------------------------

With the boot image patched, the next step is to flash it onto your device using ADB & Fastboot. We'll use a command to flash the patched boot image, followed by rebooting the phone. Upon reboot, the Magisk app should confirm that the device is now rooted. You can further verify the root status using an app like Root Checker.

This entire process will give you full control over your Android device, allowing you to install custom ROMs and tweak system settings. If you encounter any issues or have questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section below!

There are many ways to root Android phones, such as Samsung phones or tablets, but using this app called Kingroot, we can root any Android phone super easily, without any computers or laptops, and you only need to tap a few things.

Kingroot isn't exactly complex, but this Kingroot tutorial will help to guide you through the setup process, and the rooting process for Android phones.

Kingroot even has some built in software, to help root Samsung phones like the Samsung Galaxy s5, s6, s7, s8, and the wide range of Samsung tablets.

The KNOX Security software built into Samsung phones can sometimes interfere with Kingroot's rooting process, so it's a good idea to let Kingroot try and disable it.

VIDEO EVALUATION/NOTES:
This is the first video back at my apartment, so some things may seem a little off compared to my usual videos. For starters, my microphone now has access to a Audio Interface, instead of the USB connection that it is usually driven with. This means the audio definitely sounded different in this video. I'm not sure if I like it more than my older audio, but I'll keep experimenting.

In addition, some footage with my Samsung tablet was also over-exposed, and some footage of the devices in general were blurry. I will recheck my camera settings in future videos to prevent this from happening often in the future.
