Alright, so AMD's next generation GPU, the 9000 series, is set to be launching very soon, and in fact, according to a video cards.com article, the embargo on RDNA 4 cards might lift on January 22nd. It's coming up real fast here now this does come from a chip hell form leak that was later removed. However, if that does turn out to be true, well then they will actually have an advantage over Nvidia when it comes to the release of this card versus say the RTX 5070 which according to all the specs and leaked performance of this card, it should be competing with roughly or possibly actually surpassing in terms of its performance and if it is actually priced correctly. Well, this could be a really good graphics card as unlike the RTX 5070 it's gonna have 16 gigabytes of video memory, meaning that every game you play you should have no problem maxing out all those settings regardless of the resolution you're playing that game at so needless to say, a lot of people are holding their breath waiting to see what AMD has to show with the 9070 in the 9070 XT and let's go ahead and take a look here. First at the specs of these cards and over on video cards.com they do actually have some information laid out here on the specs apparently the 9070 XT is gonna have 4096 shaders, they're showing the 97 you'll have the same although I believe that's actually a mistyping it should be 3584 and then the boost clock the 9070 XT is actually almost three gigahertz, whereas it's around 2.7 on the 9070 although they both have 16 gigabytes of GDDR six memory and the TDP again I think this is an error I do believe it'll be 260 watts for the 9070 but I think it's gonna be closer to 300 or even more than 300 watts depending on the model for the 9070 XT as I believe they're pushing this card pretty hard to compete with or beat the RTX 5070 and get it somewhere between the 5070 and the 5070 Ti
