Anthony Albanese reacts to Donald Trump’s remarks about US controlling the Gaza Strip

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has reacted to US President Donald Trump’s recent remarks in which he claimed America could take over the Gaza Strip.

“Australia’s position is the same as it was this morning, as it was last year, and it was ten years ago, and it was under the Howard government,” Mr Albanese said.

“The Australian government support – and a bipartisan basis – a two-state solution in the Middle East.”
