Capsule Wardrobes For Beginners - Everything you need to know!
Capsule wardrobes are the best way to save time and money when it comes to getting dressed but they are not right for everyone so today I wanted to share some of the pros and cons to owning a capsule wardrobe so you can decide if it is the right approach for you. A new season is also a great time to transition to a capsule wardrobe so with the cold weather fast approaching there truly is no better time than now to get started. I've also been thinking about capsule wardrobes a lot lately as I'm currently putting together a simple online course that guides you through the process of creating your very own capsule. I'd love to know if you'd be interested in my course and if you already have a capsule wardrobe I'd love to hear your thoughts on why it is the right approach for you. In today's video I also wanted to clear up some myths surrounding capsule wardrobes. At least I think they're myths because a lot of the capsule wardrobes I see online are really limiting. They don't allow for any freedom when it comes to fashion and they also don't allow for the incorporation of many fashion trends and different styles. So today I wanted to set the record straight and hopefully share the highs and lows of owning a capsule of clothes that in my opinion really do make getting dressed and feeling more stylish so much easier.

Once you learn your body, you can learn ANY style! Have you heard the saying you have to learn the rules so you can learn how to break the rules? That’s body type styling in a nutshell. Once learned, you can follow it perfectly or you can start to intentionally deviate and forge your own style. Both are great!
You have two body shapes: your horizontal body shape and your vertical body shape. And there are even more details and perceptions to understand. Your proportions are everything to your style.
Just remember to not get too caught up in exact math here. Fashion is an art!
