How-to & Style
This idea works for alot of older model cars. however Some Vehicles have no tolerance for 20V Being Quickly Injected to the Car. Do this at your own risk.
Yes this is indeed a shifty way to do it. I don't recommend it. But if you Stuck up Shit creek this gets you outta a pinch.
Granted this is not the most efficient way and I'm sure they'll be millions of people on YouTube telling me that there's some form of danger here.
Those people have never been in a situation where you have next to nothing to jump your car and no one else is around

Jump starting a car using a cordless drill battery. WARNING ! I did this as an experiment just to see if it would actually work. This method could potentially cause damage to your cordless battery or even to your vehicles electrical system. Only use this method in an emergency and if you have no other options available to start your vehicle. I only had a 20 volt battery available but I wouldn't recommend using anything higher than a 16 volt battery when trying this. Here's a video showing a 12 volt drill battery jump starting a car: https://youtu.be/YC1s0mUsq2w Using a drill battery with a much higher voltage than your car or motorcycle battery is NOT recommended as this would have a greater risk of causing damage the car or bikes battery and/or even the electrical system due to the higher voltage of the drill battery. However, it could get your vehicle started and get you home or to a garage in an emergency situation. My car battery was almost completely flat and even my portable booster pack couldn’t get it started. I heard about this idea and I had to try it out for myself. I was a bit sceptical to begin with but, as you can see, it worked surprisingly well. If your battery won’t hold a charge then it needs to be replaced asap. WARNING !. If you do try this, make sure you wire the battery correctly or you could damage the battery or possibly cause it to explode. Thanks for watching. Please comment, like and subscribe !.

Hi y'all! I'm Chaya also known as the Mechanic Shop Femme here to teach you how to jump start your own car. This is a mini tutorial so you can learn quickly and efficiently.
A few importaint things to keep in mind:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. RED or positive goes first when you are connection jumper cables. Attached the positive cable to the positive of the dead battery. Then attach the positive, then negative on the working vehicle. Next go back to the dead vehicle and attached the black cable (negative) to any unpainted metal part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. It's super important to make sure you don't mix up the positive and negative terminals. Check twice before attaching. Look for red or a + sign to symbolize positive and black or a - sign to symbolize negative. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Turn on the working car first, let it run for a few minutes and then go and try to start the car that is dead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Disconnect cables in the OPPOSITE order then you put them on. Negative then positive. Start with the car that received the jump start by removing the negative cable attached to the unpainted part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Make sure the cable clips (the metal part) doesn't touch each other. Hold them in separate hands.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Don't rely on the jumpstart to fix anything. It's a temporary solution to genrally an underlying problem. Get your charging system checked as soon as possible. If you are lucky, maybe you just forgot a light on and it drained your battery.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope this taught you something! Doing these videos has been so much fun. Please share this video with your friends. Comment and tell me if you've ever jumpstarted a car or if you now feel confident you can handle doing it yourself. Lastly! Make sure you own some jumper cables and they are in your car.
