الملاكمة كانت دائمًا التغير، وشكلها الحالي، كصورة من تقنين العنف الكامن في البشر، نشأ على أساس الماركيز كوينزبري وغيره من القواعد، التي خلقت منها رياضة أكثر أمانًا وعدالة للمتنافسين، رياضة لها متابعيها ومجلاتها المتخصصة، مثل The ring، التي تأسست في 1922، وأسست كذلك بطولتها الخاصة وحزامها الخاص للملاكمة، لكن حتى تلك القواعد لم تمنع كون الملاكمة في كثير من الأحيان رياضة قاتلة.

الـ ADHD هو نتيجة تفاعل معقد بين بيئة معينة، وطفل حساس أكثر من غيره، وهو أكبر من مجرد قصور انتباه، بما يصاحبه من نقص تقدير الذات أو الهروب من الحميمية ونمط الحياة المحموم. لكن إذا عٌرفت أسبابه، يمكن علاجه. هذا لا يعني أن الرحلة بهذه السهولة. لكنها تبدأ بالمعرفة، بالتعامل مع الذات بفضول وتقبل، لا بالخجل منها والهروب من فهمها.
